Data Collection Norges Vær app
The app “Norges Vær” does not collect login information or data from the user. If the user enables location services, the app will request current GPS location. The app will then query weather updates for the location from the Norwegian Meterological Service (MET). The position is transmitted directly from the app to Met. In addition, the GPS coordinates are transmitted to OpenStreetMap to get the name of the town/area for current position. No information besides coordinates are transmitted.
